Inclusion Day Judicial Symposium
The Inclusion Day Judicial Symposium, organized by the Council of Municipal Court Judges and the Judicial Council of Georgia Access, Fairness, Public Trust and Confidence Committee, is a statewide training for judges in all classes of courts: Superior, State, Magistrate, Municipal, Probate and Juvenile. The Symposium will provide an overview on several different topics that impact judicial decision making, including implicit bias, court services to transgender individuals and court systems legal obligations based on the Americans with Disabilities Act. Confirmed speakers include Judge Rashida Oliver, Judge Leslie Spornberger Jones, Attorney Beth Littrell, Attorney Talley Wells, and Attorney Francys Johnson. A registration fee of $30 is required for meals and beverages. Please note that the cost of ICLE credit hours is NOT included in the Symposium registration fee. The event is approved for 5 CLE hours, including 3 trial practice hours. The Municipal Judges Training Council has approved the Symposium for 5 CJE hours. Due to Hurricane Irma this event will not be held in the Savannah Bar location. When registering please select a ticket for the location you plan on attending.
